Yearly Youth Events
Each year the youth of the Central District, and some other groups, are encouraged to attend both the Summer Camp and Fall Conference. They are both great opportunities for the youth to grow their relationships with God and others :)
FAQ's
What ages can go?
- Conference is for high school aged youth (9th grade to 12th).
- Camp is for all youth 10-18 years old (or the summer after graduation). It is split into two camps, Jr. Camp (10-13 yrs) and Sr. Camp (14-18 yrs)
Where are the events?
- Where the conference is changes every year. We usually rotate between three locations: Camp Rivercrest in Fremont, NE; Inspiration Hills in Inwood, IA; and Cedar Canyon Camp in Rapid City, SD.
- Every year camp is at Sand Hill Lake Bible Camp in Fosston, MN.
Who is the speaker and band?
Each year we get a new speaker and band for the events. They are always awesome!
What should I bring?
For both events you should bring a Bible, pen, extra spending money, sleeping bag & pillow, toiletries, flashlight, adequate and proper clothing (depending on the time of year and location), and most importantly an open heart and mind!
What is the cost for each event?
- The cost of both camp and conference differ from year to year. See the detailed brochure of each event for exact amount.
- The best way to pay is for each camper to give the money to their home church or group in whatever amount they have set and the church will write one big check to cover all campers at the rate the Youth Committee and/or the camp faculties has set.
