FAQ

Here's some (hopefully) helpful answers to some conference questions:

What do we do at the conference?

We pretty much just have a great time 🙂 The Youth Conference is a place to meet new friends, make great memories, and strengthen our relationships with one another and Christ. We spend time in worship, we play TONS of games, and we get to grow our understanding of Jesus and His Kingdom!

What do I bring? What can I not bring?

Must-haves

  • Sleeping bag or bedding
  • An adequate amount of clothes (you will be there for 4 days and 3 nights)
  • Proper outerwear (coats, boats, gloves, etc.) We will play games outside!
  • Toiletry Items (deodorant!)
  • Any prescription medication that you might need
  • An awesome attitude 🙂
  • A Bible if you have one!

Wants

  • Extra spending money (the camp may have a store)
  • Snacks (especially for the car ride)
  • All your amazing talents 😉
  • Water bottle
  • Note book, pens, etc.

Things that need to stay at home

  • Drugs and alcohol
  • The grumpies
  • Any inappropriate clothing (if you question it, don’t bring it)
  • Weapons
Who is the speaker? Who's the band?

The speaker hasn’t been determined yet… but, the band is a tried and true favorite For His Glory from Tabor College (they are awesome)

What is the cost?

Cost: $175 per person. If applicable, please pay your church, or the youth group you are going with, the amount they have set for you. This can be less than $175 if there are sponsors or fundraising done and the amount could be more than $175 if the cost of travel is needed. Please check with your youth leader in order to pay the right amount to the church.

Youth leaders: please bring one big check with you to camp at the rate of $175 per person (youth and leaders). Checks can be written out to Central District Youth.
